AR Measurement Feature:
Remnant Finder uses Apple’s ARKit framework with LiDAR Scanner technology (on supported devices) to provide augmented reality-based measurements of stone remnant pieces. The LiDAR Scanner is a separate sensor from the TrueDepth camera system.
What We Collect When You Use the AR Measurement Feature:
– Depth Data: The app uses the LiDAR Scanner to detect surfaces and measure distances. This depth data is processed locally on your device in real-time.
– Camera Feed: The camera is used to display the AR overlay. The camera feed is not recorded or stored.
– Measurement Results: Only the final measurement values (length and width) may be saved if you choose to save them.
What We DO NOT Collect:
– Face Data: We do not use the TrueDepth camera or collect any facial data.
